Kass's 21st Birthday!

This past Friday was my 21st birthday... Kevin did such an amazing job taking care of me as always! I was treated to a delicious breakfast in bed, some absolutely gorgeous flowers, lunch and shopping with my mom and sisters and a movie with Kev at night. I couldn't have asked for a better birthday and I'm so grateful to all of my friends and family for the birthday gifts and wishes!

Our 1st Anniversary!

We both can't believe it's already been a year since we got married! Time has gone by so fast it's crazy.... We've had a very busy and amazing first year of marriage. We've definitely had our share of trials and have learned how to work through them together. I don't know where I'd' be today without all the love and support from Kevin.
Today we were lucky enough to be able to spend most of the day together. We were able to go to the Salt Lake Temple where we were married 1 year ago today. I still think I am the luckiest girl in the world and have the most amazing, loving husband. Happy Anniversary Baby and lots more to come!!

July Happenings...

So far we've been lucky to have had a very fun and busy summer. We had a wonderful Fourth of July and were able to spend time with both of our families between parades, barbecues, and a Bees game. Kev and I had thoughts about moving to Salt Lake when our lease ran up in August, but after a long hard search of not finding anything better than what we have in Bountiful we've decided we'll be here for at least another year. We love our little house in Bountiful and are so blessed for all that we have, despite the long drives that we both enjoy so much to work everyday :) we can't complain much! We were lucky to have both of our family trips fall on the same week and be able to make it to both of them. We spent the weekend of the 24th in Bear Lake with Kevin's family and had a blast. We did get a little too sunburned the first day, since neither of us had seen the sun at all this summer. That made for a couple of miserable nights... but still worth the fun at the beach!

We then stopped at home, did some laundry and headed to Lake Powell the next morning. We had a great time with my family and all of the Clarks down in Wahweep.  We are so grateful we were able to go on both trips and for the wonderful break from work!  I guess it's back to work and school for Kev now...

On Friday June 3, we were able to go to Kevin's sister Kelsey's high school graduation. As we were sitting through graduation I couldn't believe how fast the time had gone by since my graduation! We went to dinner afterward at a cute BBQ place in Huntsville called Huntsville BBQ Company. I would highly recommend it, it was delicious. We're so glad we were able to be there for this special day for Kelsey. Congrats babe we're proud of you!

The last 10 months....

Here's a quick little blurb about the last 10 months of our married life... ;) Kevin and I moved into a house in
Bountiful that we absolutely love right after the honeymoon. We are just renting right now, in hopes that we will one day own a house of our own. We were very lucky to find it and have loved the area so far. I'll post some pictures of some of the things we've done together since the only ones we have up have been wedding ones. We were able to go camping over labor day weekend with my family up in the Uintahs. I'm not so much of a camping girl but it was actually a fun trip. Kevin loves to camp so I'm sure we'll have many more of these outings to come...

We also got to spend our first Thanksgiving and Christmas together which was really fun. We had lots of family parties and lots of time off, which was very nice. For New Year's we got a hotel in Salt Lake and went to The Roof, where we got engaged back in March.

Kevin started his 3rd semester of school in January and I moved to a new salon in Salt Lake called Urban Retreat. Since then it's been very busy weeks for the both of us and we've been very lucky to have Sundays and most of our Monday's now together. I'm so proud of Kevin, he's almost through with generals and getting to the classes he actually wants to do now. I was also able to see Disney on Ice with my mom and two sisters, none of us had seen it before and it made me want to go back to Disneyland! We were able to go to a Jazz game a while ago which was a very fun break for both of us.
